Processing method of compression spring:

1. After the compression spring is rolled and formed by recrystallization annealing, recrystallization annealing must be carried out to stabilize the spring geometry and reduce the deformation during quenching. The recrystallization annealing temperature is 550 ~ 650 ℃, and air cooling is carried out after holding for 1 ~ 1.5h. A small amount can be carried out in the salt bath furnace, and a large number of continuous resistance furnaces are used to control the atmosphere.

2. During quenching and heating in the salt bath furnace, the spring shall be tied evenly with iron wire or the spring shall be sheathed on the mandrel for heating. When heating, ensure that the spring surface is oxidized and decarburized. Salt baths should be carefully deoxidized. It can also be heated in a box furnace with controllable atmosphere. The heating temperature is 850 ℃± 10 ℃, and the temperature is kept for 10 ~ 15min. The quenching oil is cooled thoroughly.

3. Tempering can be carried out twice after tempering and quenching. The correction tempering shall be carried out first. Generally, the correction tempering temperature shall be about 20 ℃ lower than the final tempering temperature. The temperature shall be kept for 10 ~ 15min and the furnace shall be air cooled. Then the final tempering is carried out. After the spring size correction, the spring is installed on the tempering fixture for final tempering. The tempering fixture shall ensure that the spring pitch and free length meet the requirements. The tempering temperature is 420 ℃± 10 ℃, the temperature is kept for 30 ~ 35min, and the furnace is discharged for water cooling.

4. In order to improve the fatigue strength of spring, shot blasting is needed. The bullet diameter is Φ 0.3 ~ 0.5mm. When using compressed air jet, the pressure of compressed air is 0.4 ~ 0.5MPa; when using centrifugal machine for shot blasting, the linear velocity of shot is 70m / s. The service life of the compression spring treated by shot blasting can be more than doubled.

Processing method of tension spring:

1. The spring with no support ring and the spring with thin wire diameter shall not be welded with Du spring head, but the end steel wire Zhi shall not be loose obviously and shall be deburred. For the multi strand spring whose head needs to be welded, the length of the welding part shall be less than 3 times of the cable diameter (the longest part shall not be greater than 10 mm). The heating length shall be less than one circle, and it shall be polished smooth after welding. During gas welding, the welding part shall be locally annealed at low temperature.

2. According to the requirements of the product, the support ring can be divided into two ways: cold and hot. It is not allowed to heat the spring to spark or whiten by means of hot merging. The temperature of silicon manganese steel shall not be higher than 850 ℃. The bearing ring and effective ring shall be in effective contact, and the clearance shall not exceed 10% of the nominal clearance between rings.

3. The characteristics of the multi strand spring can be determined by adjusting the lead, and the cable distance can be adjusted when winding. The screwing distance can be 3-14 times of wire diameter, but it is better to take 8-13 times of wire diameter. Its spring force is also closely related to free height, parallel end ring, outer diameter and steel wire performance, which can be changed by adjusting one or several of them.

4. The tightening time of important spring is 24 hours, and that of common spring is 6 hours or 3-5 times of continuous compression for 3-5 seconds each time. When pressing, the gap between spring and mandrel should be 10% of mandrel diameter. If the gap is too small, it is difficult to operate. If the gap is too large, it is easy to bend and deform the spring. If one of the springs is broken during compression, the rest shall be reprocessed.

5. For the multi strand spring with larger H0 / D2 value, pay attention to its deformation during heat treatment, consider whether to wear the mandrel and pay attention to the placement, and select appropriate heat treatment equipment. Under the condition of repairable, tempering and hot pressing can be carried out for many times to achieve the purpose.

6. Generally, the surface treatment of spring can be phosphated or other treatment. When zinc and cadmium are to be plated, hydrogen removal treatment shall be carried out after electroplating. After hydrogen removal, 3% (no less than 3 pieces) shall be sampled for retest, and there shall be no fracture in the retest. The spring shall be cleaned of dirt, salt mark and oxide skin on the surface. The method can be sand blowing or gasoline cleaning, but pickling is not allowed.
