【Tension Spring】Characteristics and Processing Requirements of Hook and Loop
Now, springs are widely used in our lives, and springs used in different places have different sizes. The following is a brief introduction to the characteristics of a "tension spring" commonly used in springs:
The difference between a tension spring and other springs is that the tension spring has many effective turns and different shapes of "hooks" at both ends. "Hooks" at both ends are used to withstand loads of different shapes and angles. In addition, there are some other complicated styles, such as adjusting the spring length. The effective number of turns of the tension spring is close and together, which guarantees the tensile force and stores as much energy as possible.
The spiral tension spring is composed of a spiral part and a hook and loop part. The methods of applying tension springs in production include round shackles, eccentric shackles, oblong shackles, tapered shackles, and the combination of shackles and threads. Various forms of shackles are suitable for different occasions, and different shackles are produced according to different requirements in design and processing. The tension spring hook and loop should not only ensure and meet the assembly requirements, but also consider the supporting stress of the hook and loop. The stress at the transition between the working ring and the hook and loop is relatively concentrated, and it is easy to break when used. Therefore, when processing the shackle, the radius of curvature of the transition section should be increased as much as possible to reduce the stress concentration phenomenon.
